This card actually surprised me… When I try a new product, I usually spend a decent amount of time ‘checking it out’ – basically seeing what it can do, what it can’t and then from there I figure out what I want to do with it. Not this time! An idea struck and within about an hour, design time included, I had a cheery card to brighten up any day.

How I Did It:
I created the dress in eCraftshop Pro using a series of curved lines that I kept nudging into place. Once the basic shape of the dress was complete, I copy/pasted it and then flipped the image so that the tops joined and selected path – union- to weld them together. This way you cut one shape and fold it to make your card.
The rose was made with the Bake ‘n’ Shrink paper – be sure to pick light colored flowers since dark ones will become almost black one they’re shrunk down. With this paper, you’re going to print your design, then cut out the shape. But before you whip out your scissors – check the paper to make sure the image is dry. Now because I’m a princess with minimal patience, I opted to use my embossing gun to shrink the paper down instead of waiting on the oven to heat up and then waiting again for the image to shrink. LOL Just watch your fingers and don’t burn anything.
Cut a little section of ribbon and use an adhesive like Scor-tape to adhere it to the card. I used the glue to attach my rose since the back wasn’t perfectly flat. Cut out the word ‘Spring’ off Jen Allyson’s AD card and you’re done!
